Do you want to be one of the singers featured in the 26th annual Juneau Jazz & Classics Music Festival? Here’s your chance. 

The Cabaret Workshop with Barney McClure is open to singers of all levels, and there are still spaces available!

Barney McClure, world-class jazz pianist, teacher and accompanist extraordinaire, returns to Juneau to offer a 4-day Cabaret workshop with a Festival performance on May 9. These popular workshops are structured to teach singers how to present a vocal music piece in a successful and fun way. Each singer will learn interpretation, phrasing, microphone techniques and bandstand protocol in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Workshop fee includes one 1/2 hour private session.

• Sat, May 5: 1pm (all students)
• Sun, May 6: 5pm (all students)
• Mon, May 7: 5:30pm or 8pm (TBD by instructor & student)
• Tue, May 8: 5:30pm or 8pm (TBD by instructor & student)
• Wed, May 9: Class Performance, 7:30pm
